ProTrainings' online Oxygen Provider Level 2 (VTQ) course is designed to provide each learner with the theoretical competency on how to best administer oxygen correctly and safely.
By completing this course each learner will gain knowledge and confidence on how to handle, store and administer medical oxygen. Medical oxygen administration within first aid by trained rescuers can provide an effective way of saving a life or just promoting recovery. Oxygen administration is a simple skill but there are safety concerns each learner needs to be aware of.
This course will cover the use of bag valve masks (BVM) to deliver breaths without direct mouth contact as well as being able to deliver the breaths using 100% medical oxygen. To meet the latest guidelines, pulse oximetry is also covered in the course.
